IMCP has been based in the Olympic city of Lausanne since 2004. To ensure a broad spectrum of expertise, the two partners, Iain Macleod and Liz Wilson, collaborate with a number of associates worldwide. They are all specialists in their field within communications, sports consultancy and language training.

Iain Macleod

Iain is one of the world’s leading experts on Olympic bidding. He has consulted to 10 Olympic bids including Athens, Beijing, Sochi, Paris and Doha and is widely recognised for his perceptive insight into the workings of the International Olympic Committee. Having been involved in the Olympic Movement for more than 25 years, Iain set up IMCP in 1997 to specialise in international sports matters. He has attended 10 Olympic Games and has wide-ranging experience of consulting to international sports federations. Previously he was an award-winning Olympic journalist for the Daily Telegraph, breaking a number of significant stories.

Liz Wilson

Liz is a highly experienced communications professional and English-language trainer. Her specialist services are used by international companies and sports organisations. On the one hand, she is an expert writer, editor and communications manager; on the other, she delivers focused English language training for senior staff. Liz holds the advanced level Cambridge University training certificate (CELTA) and a Diploma in Journalism. She is also an experienced project manager.
